Founder of Bright China Holding Ltd. and its subsidiaries.
Chairman Shao has 38 years’ working experience, out of which 22 years’ entrepreneurship in various industries. Bright China Holding Ltd. is currently involved in stock, investment, management education and philanthropies. It has invested over 4 billion RMB in Mainland China.
In 1999, Chairman Shao founded Bright China Management Institute (BCMI). He studied under the tutorship of Mr. Drucker in Claremont Graduate University in the US, striving for making available to China's executives and entrepreneurs, the BEST of the world's management Knowledge and management Tools. Ever since 1996 employment opportunities have been offered to more than 10,000 laid-off people in more than 20 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and some cities in the provinces of Guangdong, Fujian and Sichuan. Donations were made to build and operate schools in the Northwest and Southwest of China, providing educational opportunities to more than 3,000 students from poverty-stricken farming families in those regions. In 2003, Bright China Foundation (BCF) was founded in Los Angeles. In 2005, BCF was officially registered in mainland China, taking social responsibilities as a long-term and organized task of great significance. |

Chairman of Bright China Foundation
Mr. Stephen Lee, Master of Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick in the UK, Doctoral Candidate, member of IEE in the UK, one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong in 2002.
Mr. Lee’s international vision is well proven in business and social sectors alike. He is responsible for the for-profit and non-profit businesses within the Bright China Group, and integrates it as a unique “Social Enterprise” business model. In the past 20 years or so, he is rich in cross-industrial, cross-cultural and cross-regional experiences in a diversity of fields, including energy saving, environmental protection, chemical industry. He played a leading role in the businesses of listed and multi-national companies and is respected as a strategic player in breaking new grounds, building new business from zero and reforming corporation. He has acted in the past 20 years as director and consultant for a number of NGOs, universities and governments in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas.
Mr. Lee joined Bright China Group as president in Dec. 2005; he is responsible for managing and developing both the for-profit businesses and the non-profit organizations. |

Mr. Henry To (MBA, CETI and MCIM,) is a well-experienced entrepreneur, an executive with international vision. Ever since 1983, he has started businesses in import and export, manufacturing, wholesale and logistics in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and USA. He also serves as directors and volunteers for a number of non-profit organizations. Mr. To joined Bright China Holding Ltd. in 2000. He took charge of business negotiations, mergers and acquisitions and overseas partnership development and received extraordinary results. When Bright China Foundation was set up in 2003, Mr. To became the first CEO, and together with his dedicated team they helped provide thousands of students in the poverty-stricken regions with the opportunity to continue studying. He took the role of CEO of Peter F. Drucker Academy in 2006, striving for the promotion of Peter F. Drucker’s legacy in China. In 2007 he was appointed as Vice President of Bright China Group. |

Ph.D in investment from Strathclyde University in the UK, with more than 10 years of experience in security investment research, funds management and more than 5 years of experience in project management and engineering design.
He was once the Head Director of Research Department in a British investment firm, Cresvale International Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd., responsible for investment portfolio design and security investment research. Joining China Everbright Group as Assistant General Manager in its Investments Department in 1995, he was in charge of investment projects management with responsibilities covering the identification of investment projects, feasibility studies, investment assessment, contract negotiation and projects’ execution & control. Managing Executive Director of China Everbright Assets Management Ltd. from 1998 to 2002, with a record of creating HK$1.03 billion of profits in one year, making the company one of the most profitable subsidiaries in the history of China Everbright Group. |

Ms. Jun Shi, Master in Finance from Strathclyde University in the UK, with extensive experience from Bank of China (Hong Kong), with key appointments in its IT department, research department, treasury department, investment department, and auditing. Joined Bright China Holding Ltd. in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer, she was in charge of the negotiations of a series of investment projects, has been responsible for the securities investment portfolio of the group, following the guiding principles of Warren Buffet’s concept of value investment, the group has gained a compounded annual return on investment of over 20% in the past years. |

Mr. Simon Zheng acquired Bachelor of Accounting from Renmin University of China, Certified Accountant by LCCI in 1998, with 10 plus years of experience in finance, accounting, taxation, auditing, statistics in such fields as industry, finance, aviation, marine, satellite communication, real estate, hospitality, education and charitable foundation etc. He is also well familiar with the business models of both enterprises and governmental organizations. |

Ms. Yu (MBA, International Business Engineer) has worked as project manager in the Adventist Development and Relief Agency ( ADRA) and business supervisor in Beijing Hi-key Technology Corporation. She is well experienced in NPO project management,operation as well as international business management. She joined Bright China Foundation in 2005 as Manager of Project Development Division. In Oct. 2006, she was appointed as Deputy Secretary General. |
